The beginning of 2011 started out on rocky ground for the most part, but it’s shaped up to be a pretty darn good year. Lots of things have developed from rough situations and I’m thankful to have things the way they are now. The motorcycle fiasco is pretty much done, just a court date or two to go. Brandon’s shop, Insane Custom Rides, stepped in and built the EXACT bike I’ve wanted all along, so that’s a fine example of lemons being turned into lemonade. That bike’s so badass though that I’d imagine there is some vodka in that lemonade!

The job situation – I made one of the toughest decisions in my life and decided to leave my brother’s company to pursue another job opportunity that came along recently. I’m now a senior project manager for a Resource Interactive, a digital marketing agency in Ohio. Once my onboarding is complete, I will be managing all digital marketing aspects for Herbal Essences. It’s an amazing opportunity and somewhat intimidating at the same time, but three weeks in I already know I belong there. Commuting to Cincinnati isn’t as bad as I thought it would be, but I do appreciate the days I get to work from home.

Spring is definitely NOT in the air! I must admit, I’m enjoying the brisk mornings right now. I know that won’t last long because I pretty much hate the cold, but right now it’s not too bad. Stay tuned for upcoming trips and events.
