All Ramped Up

Ladies and gentlemen, in 48 hours from the time of posting this, the annual Halloween party will be set at full tilt boogie. I still don’t have a clue what I’m going to dress up as, but I’m leaning towards the devil. That way I don’t have to dress up much at all, which will definitely fit my budget.

I watched the Social Network tonight and really liked the movie. It’s amazing how a simple idea can catch on and make a person BILLIONS of dollars. Being in the Internet industry, it makes me wonder what the next big thing is. We spend all day helping our clients make money from their websites, but I think we should have a silent project underway as well. What should it be?

Saw this on the Internet and thought it was really funny.

Alright kids, I’m going to bed. If I don’t see you at my party then you must not support good ol’ American debauchery. Sorry about your luck.

Ooohh the Music!

Alright, I’m super excited about some of the music I’ve gotten my hands on lately. I’ve got it all, from blues to rap to rock, it’s all good stuff right now…

Blues
JJ Grey & Mofro is incredible! A friend of mine told me about them a couple months ago and I got it that night. I swear, I listened to their albums for a month straight. A week after I got the two albums they were playing in Lexington, so some friends and I went. I was shocked. The guy who belts out this delicious blues music in a deep voice is a tiny little white guy. Not what I was expecting. Can’t wait until they come play again.

Rock
Kings of Leon released Come Around Sundown and all I can say is they’re at it again. This album is just as good if not better than their previous albums and I never get tired of hearing it. It’s great music to play when driving.

Rap
Alright, you all know I’m a huge Ice Cube fan, so it should be no surprise that when his most recent album, I Am The West, was released, I was all over it. All hail the rap god.

Dealer’s Choice
So I’ve been a big Nine Inch Nails fan for as long as I can remember. When they split this year I was somewhat worried, but I knew Trent Reznor would keep going and he has. Not only has he kept going, but his wife has an album out. The self-titled album How To Destroy Angels has been out for a while now, but I recently downloaded it and gave it a spin. Thank you to the Reznor family for giving me music to think to.

October 2010

What a month so far. I’ve been under the weather for the past few days and have watched a LOT of movies. I don’t know if any of you know who Tucker Max is, but I’ve been reading (and relating) to his blog a lot, so I got his movie, I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell. That movie is hilarious, but there is one scene that grossed me out. Yes, that’s what I said. Nothing is shocking or disturbing to me, but that one was pushing my limits.

My annual Halloween party is just around the corner. Still trying to decide on a good costume, but I have a few good ideas. I can’t wait to see everyone again this year and see how wild things get. Last year things got a little out of hand and I was dating someone, so this year should far surpass it. RSVP now if you haven’t already.

Drug addicts are morons. Don’t they know that they can buy their pills online?

Motorcycle group OFFICIALLY started. (No, we are not a motorcycle CLUB, we are a social riding group). The Shameless Riders are here! Pretty good timing, too, since Brandon’s chroming business and my motorcycle shop are both busy these days.

I’m watching Tokyo Drift right now. I think I’ve found a hobby that could possibly be more expensive than offroading. Still looks fun, though.

Alright I’m rambling. I’m going to bed.
