Top Notch Truck and Horse Trailer For Sale

As many of you already know, I ran a horse transportation company from 2005-2009 before a heart issue forced me to come off the road. I leased my trailer out and kept my truck in case my father’s truck (who also hauls horses) broke down, he would have a back up.

I can no longer justify paying for equipment that I do not use, so if you or anyone you know may be interested in my truck and/or trailer, please send them to this website. I would REALLY prefer to sell both at the same time and have priced them to move together. However, if I must sell them separately, I will.

New Site Idea – Need Help

It seems everyone I know is in a bad relationship, breaking up with someone, or divorcing his/her spouse. While I have never been one who really wants to get married and have kids or do that whole thing, I do idolize those who have the functioning families, the good mothers and fathers and the happily married couples who “make it work.”

According to Jennifer Baker of the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology in Springfield, Missouri, 50% percent of first marriages, 67% of second and 74% of third marriages end in divorce. That is sad. Many people tell me that I’m “missing out” or “will grow old alone” but I don’t believe that’s the case. I can’t miss it if I never experience it. If I had a wife and kids and suddenly lost them, then I’d be missing them. Until then, I’m just ignorant of it. Growing old alone? Hardly. Read the above statistics. I’ll grow old with my friends.

The point is I would like to build some sort of website where people can talk about this stuff. I don’t want it to be a “person bashing” website, no names will be used, but I’m thinking if people submit their story or facts/things they learned when their relationship failed, that would be a fun site. Depressing, but fun. I’d like there to be a knowledge bank of information on one part of the site and perhaps an administrator-approved forum of some sort as the other.

What are your thoughts or ideas? Post a comment here and let me know. I’d like to develop this into a real website in the next few weeks.

Who Turned the Heat Off?!?

Man, the weather has been great lately, but I’m not digging the 50 degree stuff today or tomorrow. I liked rolling with the top down on my Mustang.

So my Kodak Playsport came in. It shoots awesome video. I’m no camera man, that’s for sure, but it’s waterproof, dust proof, shoots in HD even under water, takes awesome pictures, and is only $150. I shot a short video so you can see the quality. Check it out here.

Also in tech news, my MacBook Pro arrived today. It’s taking a little time to adjust to the change, but this thing ROCKS! Moving all my data from the PC to the Mac won’t be too fun, but it’ll force me to clean up my iTunes.

Our April Fool’s ride was awesome in Harlan, KY last weekend. Got to spend good quality time with the guys and saw some old friends I hadn’t seen in a while. First day there I had to buy new ATV tires – Austin’s ATV Shop is the place to do it. They sold and installed Mud Lites for $250 out the door. How cool is that?

I had quite a long night last night and am BEAT today. Early day tomorrow: the Coach Cal Maker’s Mark bottle signing is taking place at Keeneland. If you want a bottle (not autographed) go to CalipariFoundation.org. They’re $49.99 and will sell out fast. I have 100 cases of them in my driveway right now. Well, I HAD them there, but didn’t tell anyone until they were moved to prevent theft.

I’ll be at Keeneland all day Friday. If you’re heading that way, text me and we’ll meet up.
